Renovating and expanding upscale hotels, resorts, clubs, spas, restaurants, offices, and other commercial facilities is our area of expertise as a top general contractor. Our property includes millions of square feet of public space and more than 30,000 guestrooms. Our dedication to providing outstanding service and fostering repeat business is demonstrated by the range of projects we take on, from $40 million restorations to smaller jobs. We work closely with clients in the hotel sector, providing complete project management, budget estimating, pre-construction services, and project concepts.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Assistant Project Manager with estimating experience to oversee and manage construction projects within the hospitality sector, specifically hotels and resorts. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while also fostering strong relationships with stakeholders and team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and monitor construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation effectively.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and compliance with safety standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to management and stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management within the construction or hospitality industry.
  • Proven experience managing projects in hotels and/or resorts.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes and project management methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
