Summary

As a Project Manager, you will oversee the full project lifecycle, from initial client consultation and takeoff to final project delivery. This role combines client interaction, project oversight, and team coordination to ensure the successful completion of home remodeling projects that exceed expectations.


Candidate Requirements and Responsibilities:

Estimation:

  • Meet with clients to understand their vision, needs, and budget.
  • Provide detailed and accurate cost estimates for all aspects of the project, including labor, materials, and permits.
  • Regularly update estimates as project scope evolves.

Project Planning:

  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Ensure adherence to schedules and efficient resource allocation throughout the project lifecycle.

Vendor and Contractor Management:

  • Source, negotiate, and coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
  • Monitor material deliveries and ensure they align with project timelines.

Quality Control:

  • Conduct regular site inspections to maintain high standards of craftsmanship.
  • Address quality concerns immediately and ensure adherence to safety regulations and building codes.

Client and Team Communication:

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing updates and addressing questions or concerns promptly.
  • Facilitate clear communication between team members, clients, and contractors to ensure alignment and satisfaction.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain thorough project records, including contracts, change orders, invoices, and progress reports.
  • Provide regular project updates and financial summaries to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on residential remodeling projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, building codes, and permitting requirements.
  • Proficiency in project management software, estimation tools, and productivity software (e.g., MS Word, Excel).
  • Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and team members.
  • Detail-oriented and results-driven, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel to job sites as needed.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, OSHA, LEED) are a plus but not required.
