Position: Hip Hop Dance Instructor Job Overview: Be a part of a fun innovative dance studio! The Academy offers instruction in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Contemporary, Musical Theater, Hip Hop and more. We are looking for team oriented creative instructors who are not afraid to "think outside of the box" and who enjoy a fun and collaborative work environment. Job duties include teaching and choreographing hip hop dance in a safe, welcoming environment while fostering the development of individual students. Teachers will also be asked to participate in community and annual recital planning. Creativity, strong work ethic and reliability are a must. Compensation will be determined by education and experience and is negotiable. The ideal candidate will have a degree in dance or related performing art as well as 2+ years of teaching experience. Those with a strong dance background without teaching experience will also be considered. Strong preference will be given to instructors with the ability to teach elementary aged students through adults. Evening hours are required.
