You will have the chance to work on exciting and engaging large-scale infrastructure projects and utilize your transportation design expertise in roadway/highway to serve on transportation related projects. You’ll work with some of the best Engineers and Project Managers in the business, collaborate with industry leaders in delivering design solutions and gain experience working directly with our clients. As a member of our transportation team, you’ll have the chance to work on a challenging project where we’ll depend on your expertise, intuition, and leadership with planning, directing, and monitoring all aspects of projects.
Working with a team of engineers, you’ll be responsible for technical quality of challenging engineering tasks in accordance with client expectations, scope, budget, and schedule, from conceptual through final design Project opportunities may include highway interchange design, roadway design for new light rail lines, and local road projects. We’ll ask you to communicate effectively with team members, clients, and other agencies, participate in quality control/quality assurance activities and ensure project deadlines are met. Here's what you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Licensed Professional Engineer in NY
- At least 8+ years of project engineering experience in transportation design with emphasis on infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with New York State and New York City regulatory requirements
- Experience providing design services to NY transportation agencies including MTA, PANYNJ, NYSDOT, NYCDOT, NYCEDC and NYCDDC
- Ability to work with design teams in all aspects of a given project to develop detailed design documents for construction plans
- Strong background in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or OpenRoads Designer
- Previous experience conducting criteria research, write specifications, and assist with permitting

The base salary range for this position is $118,000.00 to $175,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
