Position Overview:
Under broad guidance, this position is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the pre and post-transplant and disease management patients including, but not limited to: patient medical management, immediate pre-operative assessment/management, post-operative assessment/management, and discharge planning. Participates in providing educational programs regarding transplantation to hospitals, medical specialty units, patient groups and the bay community throughout Northern California.
Job Description:
EDUCATION
Bachelor's: RN with BS degree
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 3yrs clinical nursing experience. Required
Medical/Surgical and/or ICU experience strongly preferred Preferred
DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE
Center for Advanced Heart Failure Therapies:
Heart/VAD: Minimum 1 year prior clinical experience as a cardiovascular, transplant, or LVAD coordinator or minimum 1 year prior LVAD and transplant experience as an ICU nurse
Kidney/Pancreas Program:
Kidney: Medsurg, ICU, Dialysis and/or Transplant experience required
Liver Transplant Program:
Liver: Medsurg, ICU, Dialysis and/or Transplant experience required
Hepatology Transplant:
Hepatology: 3 years RN experience (Medsurg, Hepatology, ICU preferred
Complex Digestive Disease:
Neuro GI: 3 years RN experience (Medsurg, GI Lab, ICU preferred)
Inpatient Services:
Inpatient: Transplant experience required (Medsurg, ICU preferred)
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Proficient Writing & Computer Skills.
Pay Range: 73.20-99.07

Pay Range is $79.23 to $107.23 / hour
The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
