We’re looking for an exceptional Healthcare UX Designer — someone who moves beyond “screens” and into systems, APIs, live WebSocket data, and the complex workflows real healthcare professionals navigate daily.
You will be among the founding design hires, shaping not just our product, but the entire experience of healthcare forecasting globally.
What You'll Do:
- Lead UX design for real-time, data-driven healthcare applications (Web, Mobile, APIs).
- Design interactive experiences powered by APIs, real-time updates (WebSockets), and dynamic datasets.
- Translate complex, healthcare-specific requirements into simple, intuitive interfaces used by clinicians, pharmacists, and operational teams.
- Collaborate daily with engineering, data science, product, and clinical experts to shape product strategy and architecture.
- Own the user research loop — working with NHS Boards, US hospital systems, and pharmaceutical partners.
- Build scalable design systems ready for healthcare-grade compliance and responsiveness.
- Champion accessibility, resilience, and trust — because lives depend on the systems we create.
Who You Are:
- 5+ years experience designing user-centric B2B products (preferably healthcare, pharma, or life sciences).
- Fluent in APIs and WebSockets — you can design for and with real-time data streams and understand how backend systems shape user experience.
- Portfolio demonstrating:
- End-to-end ownership of design for complex, API-driven applications.
- Clear UX thinking for live data, error handling, edge cases.
- Evidence of simplicity in high-stakes or regulated environments.
- You deeply empathize with medical professionals and operational users, not just end consumers.
- You thrive in fast-paced startup environments: ambiguity energizes you, not paralyzes you.
- Strong in user research, prototyping, and rapid iteration.
- Bonus: Familiarity with healthcare regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA, NHS DCB0129/0130 compliance) is a major plus.
