We are looking for a Healthcare Transition Project Manager who is available for travel to various project locations in the United States. In this role you’ll be responsible for the delivery of transition planning and the building activation services. You’ll both lead and support teams to manage the transition, activation, and move management efforts for healthcare clients on new hospitals or major hospital renovations and additions at multiple locations throughout the country. The selected transition project manager will be an integral part of our overall program management team efforts and provide wisdom gained from your significant successes in the industry.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project transition activities to include; facility activation, training & education, relocation management / patient moves, and decommissioning.
  • Implementation of technology into the transition planning and activation planning process to elevate communication to the client and team.
  • Project leadership and management of overall coordination of critical activates pertaining to design, construction, medical equipment, IT infrastructure and equipment, FF&E, logistics, facility, and property management, 24/7 clinical operations and administrative issues.
  • Overview and/or leading team meetings, development of complex owner activities schedules, aiding Client personnel on transition and relocation practices, interaction with clinical and non-clinical departments to understand their mission and how they interact with other departments, monitoring project progress, coordination of third-party vendors and establishing and managing related budgets.
  • Raise issues, risks, and exceptions; develop clear remediations and mitigations; follow-through to resolution.
  • Manage projects to successful completion, meeting deliverable quality, schedule commitments, cost budgets, and performance targets.
  • Assist the Team with codifying best service delivery practices and work with junior personnel in their professional development in our services.

Here's what you'll need

  • Minimum Associate’s degree, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years’ of demonstrated project management experience, in a healthcare related environment.
  • Significant healthcare / hospital transition and / or healthcare equipment and logistics project management experience.
  • Experience successfully working with executive level leadership and healthcare providers and have a strong understanding and knowledge of clinical and hospital operations.
  • Ability to work independently using scheduling software on large projects with several hundred tasks, utilizing task relationships with multiple predecessors.
  • Must have a passion for excellence and can demonstrate a professional track record of establishing long-lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • In-depth experience establishing collaborative relationships coupled with leadership skills to work with all stakeholders in the activation and occupancy process.
  • Willing and able to travel on an as-required basis for business needs to various project locations.


Posted Salary Range Minimum

130,000.00

Posted Salary Range Upper

145,000.00

The base salary range for this position is $130,000.00 to $145,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
