The Data Analyst will manage various projects focusing on the extraction, collection, processing, and statistical analyses of various data needed for the development, implementation and maintenance of reporting needs, dashboard utilization and quality improvement.
Essential Responsibilities and Metrics
· Delivering data to end users in most appropriate format
· Maintaining and updating existing reports based on routine schedules
· Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
· Assist with various projects as needed
· Monitor performance productivity data and quality plans to identify improvements
· Interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques
· Extract, gather and interpret data from a variety of sources (e.g., the electronic health record, billing claims, cost reports, client surveys, grants outcomes, timeliness of client access, clinical productivity) to help improve the quality of care, lower the cost of care, enhance the client experience, and ensure requirements established by grants & accrediting bodies are met
Qualifications
· Bachelor Degree in Health Informatics, Statistics, Mathematics, Behavioral Science, or a related field
· Three relevant experience with data analytics, quality management and process improvement
· Intermediate/Advance Microsoft Excel: pivot tables and advanced formulas
· General relational database concepts
· Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
· General business knowledge
· Ability to communicate effectively to a range of end users
· Interest in community mental health business industry a plus
