The Health & Safety Program Manager oversees compliance with all Health and Safety policies, programs, and projects within Global Operations. This role analyzes data to determine operational risk and manages daily software metrics and integrations. The Program Manager partners with ESG and sustainability on waste reduction and energy efficiency projects. The ideal candidate has strong project management skills and experience in implementing Health and Safety Programs, audit readiness, and operational sustainability programs within a facility management setting.
Primary Accountabilities:
* Technical Implementation & Compliance
* Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA).
* Identify, assess, and mitigate workplace hazards and risks by conducting safety inspections and audits.
* Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees.
* Collect, analyze, and report safety data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
* Work with operational leaders and other departments to foster and promote a strong safety culture.
* Collaborate with ESG sustainability on developing and executing facility-level sustainability initiatives, such as waste management, recycling programs, energy efficiency improvements, and water conservation strategies.
* Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and other relevant sustainability standards in collaboration with ESG Sustainability.
* Act as a liaison between Health and Safety and sustainability leadership to align projects with corporate ESG strategy and operational priorities.
* Stakeholder Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
* Collaborate with Quality and HR to spearhead employee engagement initiatives, such as training programs, awareness campaigns, and incentives, to cultivate a safety culture.
* Partner with internal departments, including Sustainability & Government Solutions, Healthcare Operations, HR, and Finance, to incorporate sustainability practices into daily operations.
* Pinpoint opportunities for operational efficiency improvements, including cost-saving measures through sustainability investments and risk mitigation.
* Take charge of mitigation efforts with local operational facilities to address findings from site audits and inspections that pose a risk to the facility.

Required Qualifications:
* Bachelors in Sustainability, Environmental Health & Safety, Facilities Management, or a related field required or
* Masters preferred
* 4-6 years of experience in Health & Safety, focusing on compliance, project management, and implementation required
* Strong understanding of OSHA 1910, workers' compensation, program development, and sustainability (High proficiency)
* Proven ability to manage multiple Health & Safety and sustainability projects across facility operations (Medium proficiency)
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (High proficiency)
* Familiarity with sustainability data analytics and reporting software. (Low proficiency)
* Sustainability, Environmental Management, or Facilities Operations (e.g., LEED, Zero Waste, RCRA, Certified Energy Manager, etc.). preferred or
* Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred
