About The Role

  • We are looking for a Head / Senior Manager of Strategic Accounts, PPS (Preface Professional Services) to join Preface, a global Tech-Enabling Company that revolutionizes Tech Education for Corporates, Schools and Individuals
  • The role reports to the Chief Commercial Officer and is part of Preface’s sales organization. It will be commercially focused and requires cross-functional collaboration with content creation, operations, marketing, and corporate partnership, to ensure the B2B SME/Local Enterprise vertical is performing to its best
  • You will own the SME/Local Enterprise stream’s P&L, responsible for outreach to prospective customers, negotiating and closing deals, monetization of existing relationships, and building the business development & account management team to deliver financial targets

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Team building: Build and lead a team of business development and account management professionals to drive business growth and deliver financial results; provide sales training to team members
  • Target setting: Co-create team OKRs, budgeting, and target setting; formulate project roadmap and timeline; regularly monitor and monitor progress towards targets
  • New business: Ideate and execute on new business models to drive incremental revenue
  • Business development: Outreach to prospective customers to broaden sales funnel; negotiate and close deals with prospective customers to meet revenue targets
  • Account management: Build strong relationships with existing customers; increase engagement and monetization
  • Stakeholder management: Work in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders; create and enhance products that gain traction with SME customers
  • Event management: Oversee and coordinate events and engagements from inception to completion, ensuring high-quality execution and internal coordination; manage budget and timeline to maximize ROI
  • Project management: Lead and assist in company’s cross-functional projects from time to time

Requirements

  • Genuinely passionate about technology, education, and lifestyle learning
  • 7+ years experience in commercial, business development, and/or account management role
  • 2+ years team leadership experience and P&L responsibility
  • Proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong business acumen, project management, and negotiation and influencing skills; flexible and adaptable, comfortable with ambiguity
  • Fluent in English and Cantonese with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working in a dynamic, high-growth environment is preferable
