Education BE / BTech or Master's Degree in Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering
Work Experience • 9 to 18 years of experience in Mechatronics system design
• 4 years of experience as a project lead with team of engineers
reporting to the candidate
• 2-4 years of experience as a L2 manager with multiple teams or multi-
tiered team reporting to the candidate
• Should have successfully executed at least 1 client project as a project
lead with a team of engineers reporting to the candidate.
• Proven experience of pitching ideas/presentation, planning, budgeting,
hiring/interviewing and executing project.
• Some level of experience with industrial methodologies & standards
such as Design Thinking, Kanban, Kaizen, Just in Time, knowledge of
quality control methodologies such as Six sigma etc.
Knowledge & skills • Strong verbal and written technical communication & presentation
skills
• Demonstrated leadership & coordination skills for engagement of
multi-disciplinary teams
Prior technical experience & skills desired:
• Designing & building circuits/circuit boards using electronic
components/sensors/switches/ICs using soldering/bonding
equipment. Should have experience of testing and debugging circuits
using CRO, Digital multimeters etc.
• Working knowledge in DC electronics & power electronics.
• Hands on experience of integrating devices such as sensors, actuators,
IoT devices, microcontrollers, drivers, industrial controllers, various
types of motors, actuators, switches, ICs etc. & developing working
software to run the integrated HW system.
• Should be familiar with circuit simulation software such as MATLAB
Simulink Mechatronics package or equivalent
• Should have hands on experience with C/C++, Java, Python. Knowledge
of assembler level coding good to have. Knowledge of Ladder
programming good to have.
• Knowledge of ROS (Robot operating system), Gazebo required.
• Hands on experience with sensors (Lidar, IR/ultrasonic range, tilt,
encoders, GPS etc.), IoT devices, motors (servo, stepper, DC) required.
• Experience of integrating sensors & actuators with microcontroller
required. Communication protocols - CANBUS, TCP/IP, RS232 etc.
