Job Description

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to support business growth and operational excellence.
• Manage and optimise the procurement process for food ingredients and spices, ensuring the quality and cost efficiency.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts and managing supplier performance.
• Lead and develop a high-performing supply chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain activities with overall business objectives.
• Monitor and analyse supply chain performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in the food and agribusiness sectors.
• Drive sustainability initiatives within the supply chain to reduce environmental impact and enhance corporate social responsibility.
  
  
  

The Successful Applicant

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management, with a strong background in procurement.
• Proven expertise in the food and agribusiness sectors, particularly in the procurement of food ingredients and spices.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills, with the ability to manage a diverse supplier base.
• Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on process optimisation and continuous improvement.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
