Selected Group was founded in Denmark in 2016 and is an ambitious, rapidly growing wealth manager specializing in alternative investments. The company focuses on real assets, including solar and wind power, real estate, and green infrastructure. Among its key initiatives is a fund dedicated to transforming industrial waste into sustainable solutions for food production.

One of the flagship projects is an innovative greenhouse using waste heat from a nearby paper mill to produce tomatoes year-round. A second greenhouse, supported by Goldman Sachs, is already under construction.

Selected Group operates primarily from Copenhagen but has an expanding international footprint, including a newly opened office in Switzerland. With Management and a team of more than 30 professionals across Denmark, Sweden, Gibraltar, Luxembourg, and Switzerland, Selected Group is ensuring a strong international presence.


Your Role

As Head of Sales, you will lead all sales activities in Denmark and Sweden. You will take operational ownership of both well-established and scaling markets and work closely with your sales team to drive daily execution. You will build, coach, and develop your team while playing a key role in expanding into new European markets.

You will report directly to CEO Frederik Gundorph Olesen and work closely with the Executive Management Team to align sales performance with company-wide growth objectives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Take full operational leadership of the sales function in Denmark and Sweden.
  • Be physically present and actively involved in daily sales activities – coaching, supporting, and joining client meetings when needed.
  • Help your team meet and exceed individual and team targets through hands-on coaching and follow-up.
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop top sales talent to scale the Copenhagen-based sales team.
  • Ensure consistent implementation of Selected Group’s proven sales methodology across your team.
  • Collaborate with Executive Management to ensure sales execution supports overall business goals.
  • Support expansion into new European markets by leading sales training and transferring company culture.
  • Own and monitor sales KPIs, pipeline management, and conversion rates – taking immediate action based on performance data.
  • Ensure continuous reinforcement of Selected Group’s sales processes.


Profile

You demonstrate strong operational leadership by leading from the front, actively joining client meetings, and helping close deals. You have a clear focus on execution and accountability, continuously tracking KPIs and taking fast, decisive action when performance falls short of targets. You know how to build, develop, and retain high-performing sales teams while fostering a strong performance culture. You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapt easily to change, and bring a proactive and commercially driven mindset, fully aligned with our ambition to create real impact for investors.

Qualifications

  • A proven track record in high-value consultative sales.
  • Experience leading and scaling sales teams with a hands-on leadership style.
  • Strong execution mindset with focus on measurable outcomes and accountability.
  • Experience in recruiting, onboarding, and coaching high-performing sales professionals.
  • Familiarity with alternative investments or asset management is an advantage.
