Jumbo Offshore provides transport and installation solutions for the offshore energy market based on our 2 DP2 HLCVs with lifting capacities up to 900 mt and a water depth reach of 3000 m operating worldwide. Beside the Offshore division we have a shipping division where we operate with 8 vessels and 65 vessels together with our joint venture partner SAL & Intermarine under the JSI Alliance.


Jumbo’s Offshore Commercial Department is responsible for contracting offshore transportation and installation projects. This includes all phases for getting the work, i.e. from the early market analysis, promotion, business development, sales, tender preparation and negotiation phase until the detailed contract finalization and execution. To strengthen the Global Sales and Business Development Team Jumbo is looking for a senior business acquisition manager for the Offshore Subsea sector:

The global Sales and Business Development Team within Jumbo consists of a group of enthusiastic representatives working all over the world. In this team the Head of Business Development and Sales is responsible for the product market combination Subsea, together with the J

umboco-workers from Market Analysis, Business development, Tendering Department, Engineering. Legal, QHSE and Project Management you will, as a team, be responsible to conclude contracts for complex offshore transport and installation projects. Every project within Jumbo is unique, ownership and business accountability are key. Your main responsibilities are:


  • Develop and refine Jumbo’s Business Strategy for key areas, ensuring alignment with the overall Corporate Strategy to foster business growth.
  • Gather and maintain industry intelligence, representing Jumbo at conferences and exhibitions, and organizing stakeholder presentations, workshops, and trainings to boost visibility and engagement.
  • Promote Jumbo's capabilities through input on market data files, performing SWOT analysis, and identifying target markets for business opportunities.
  • Cultivate and manage client relationships, maintaining regular communication with country representatives to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Disseminate market information and trends internally, conduct competitor analysis, update Partner Plans, and provide value-based pricing strategies to support business decisions.
  • Represent Jumbo in regional initiatives, coordinate joint proposals, and support the proposal team with strategies aimed at winning new business.
  • Initiate and manage partnerships, bid collaborations, and agency or representation agreements to ensure Jumbo's inclusion on proposal or pre-qualification lists for desirable projects.


Requirements

  • B.sc/ M.sc degree in Technical Sciences and/ or Commercial/ Business Administration;
  • Minimum of 5 years of Project and Commercial experience within the offshore industry;
  • Fluent in English both verbal and written;
  • Flexible to regularly travel.
