Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Sales and Business Development to lead our efforts in both B2B and B2C sectors within the aviation industry. This role will focus on establishing and nurturing relationships with parents and flying schools to drive business growth and expand our market presence. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the aviation landscape, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record in sales and business development.

Strategic Planning

The core responsibilities for the job include the following:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales and business development strategies for both B2B and B2C segments.
  • Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.

Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with flying schools, parents, and other stakeholders in the aviation sector.
  • Conduct regular meetings and presentations to promote our services and establish partnerships.

Sales Leadership

  • Lead and mentor the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and adjust strategies as necessary to meet objectives.

Market Research

  • Conduct market research to identify potential business opportunities and areas for growth.
  • Analyse customer feedback and market trends to refine offerings and improve customer satisfaction.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with other departments internally and teams to align business strategies and enhance service offerings also lead the project-based training.
  • Collaborate with external partners and stakeholders to create mutually beneficial business opportunities.

Reporting And Data Metrics

  • Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, ongoing industry trends, and business development activities for business expansion.
  • Utilize data analytics to track progress and inform decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Aviation Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales and business development, preferably in the aviation or education industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing B2B and B2C sales initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of the aviation market, including flying schools and parental engagement.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
