We are seeking an experienced and dynamic PMO Director / Head of Project Management to lead and structure our Project Management Office (PMO). The successful candidate will be responsible for creating the framework and managing the execution of cross-functional projects that align with our strategic objectives. This role is critical in ensuring that Aethir delivers high-impact projects efficiently while maximizing the use of resources and fostering a culture of excellence.

Responsibilities

• Build and Structure the PMO: Establish and implement the PMO framework, including standard processes, methodologies, tools, and governance to drive consistency in project management across the organization. Develop templates, documentation, and guidelines for standardized project execution
• Create Cross-Functional Organizations: Facilitate collaboration between different departments (e.g., AI, Blockchain, DePIN, etc.) to ensure alignment on project goals and resource needs. Clearly define roles, responsibilities, and reporting structures for all project team members to ensure efficient execution
• Resource Allocation & Management: Strategically manage internal and external resources to support concurrent project delivery. Monitor the availability of key personnel, budget, and tools to ensure optimal utilization across multiple projects
• Strategic Planning: Align the PMO with Aethir's long-term business strategy and growth objectives. Develop and execute project management strategies that enhance operational efficiency and support business scalability
• Project Oversight: Provide comprehensive oversight for the project portfolio, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Proactively monitor project risks and performance metrics, implementing corrective actions as necessary
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the main point of communication between project teams and senior leadership, providing regular updates on project status, risks, challenges, and key deliverables. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure their expectations are met
• Continuous Improvement: Establish a culture of continuous improvement by promoting best practices in project management, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing process improvements. Evaluate project performance post-completion to gather insights and make data-driven decisions for future projects
• Training and Development: Lead the development of project management training programs to upskill team members and foster a high-performing project management team. Mentor and coach project managers, ensuring they are empowered to meet their objectives and grow professionally
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus
• Proven PMO leadership experience
• Hands-on experience in tech and agile organizations
• Mandatory proficiency in Mandarin
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to create and manage cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Experience in cloud, gaming, and AI is a highly preferred
