Position Overview:
The Project Head will be responsible for overseeing the entire Madurai Corporation Project, including the management of supervisors, managers, and assistant managers. This role requires a strategic leader with strong project management skills, operational expertise, and the ability to ensure smooth and efficient waste management operations.
Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Execution:
· Develop comprehensive project plans outlining key milestones, timelines, and deliverables.
· Execute and oversee all project activities to ensure successful completion within scope, budget,
and schedule.
2. Team Leadership:
· Provide leadership and guidance to supervisors, managers, and assistant managers within the project team.
· Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
3. Operational Oversight:
· Monitor and ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of waste management activities in Madurai.
· Collaborate with operational teams to address challenges and optimize processes.
4. Quality Assurance:
· Implement and enforce quality standards in waste collection, transportation, and disposal.
· Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and project specifications.
5. Stakeholder Management:
· Establish and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, including Madurai Corporation officials and local authorities.
· Address concerns and maintain open communication channels.
6. Budget Management:
· Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to develop and manage project budgets.
· Monitor budget performance and implement cost-effective measures.
7. Reporting and Documentation:
· Generate regular reports on project progress, operational efficiency, and quality metrics.
· Maintain accurate documentation of project-related activities.
8. Risk Management:
· Identify and assess risks associated with project execution.
· Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.

9. Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:
· Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and environmental standards.
· Collaborate with legal and regulatory affairs teams to address legal and compliance matters.
10. Continuous Improvement:
· Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
· Implement best practices and innovative solutions in waste management.
Note:
· Only your immediate supervisor or reporting manager is authorized to assign tasks within your department. Any tasks from other departments should be assigned only through HR.
· Any penalties incurred from client dissatisfaction due to negligence or errors will be imposed on the responsible party.
Consequences:
· Failure to fulfill the responsibilities of your role may result in significant consequences. Depending on the severity of the issues, disciplinary action may be taken against you, including verbal warnings, written warnings, suspension, or termination of employment.
Escalation Matrix:
1. Internal Escalation:
· In case of any concerns or issues, all employees should first address them with their immediate supervisor or department head.
· If the issue remains unresolved or requires further attention, it can be escalated to senior management or the company's leadership team.
2. Human Resources (HR) Intervention:
· If the matter cannot be resolved internally, employees may escalate it to the HR department for assistance and resolution.
· HR will conduct an investigation into the issue and work with relevant stakeholders to find a satisfactory resolution.
3. Final Escalation Point:
· If the problem persists or escalates further, employees can escalate the matter to the company's board of directors if necessary.
· Senior management will review the situation and take appropriate action to address the issue, ensuring that all parties involved are treated fairly and that the company's best interests are upheld.
Note: This escalation matrix is designed to ensure that all concerns and issues are addressed promptly and effectively, with appropriate channels of communication and escalation in place to facilitate resolution while maintaining transparency and fairness throughout the process.
