We are seeking a:
Head of Project Management
to lead our business development activities in the wind and solar energy sectors. You will oversee a team of development project managers.
This is a high-impact leadership position that requires a deep understanding of renewable energy project lifecycles, a proactive approach to business development, and strong coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the project management team for utility-scale wind and solar energy developments.
- Coordinate the development phase of the project cycle: from site assessment, permitting, development and planning.
- Support the origination and evaluation of new business opportunities in line with company growth strategy.
- Oversee project budgets, timelines, risk assessments, and reporting.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, legal, environmental, and financial departments.
- Represent the company in negotiations, JV discussions, and with public authorities or partners.
- Implement best practices, tools, and methodologies to improve project efficiency and delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in renewable energy project development, with a focus on wind and/or solar.
- Strong leadership background and team management skills.
- Technical understanding of the renewable energy market, permitting processes, and regulatory frameworks in Germany.
- Fluent in English; other languages (e.g., Italian, Spanish, French) are a plus.
- Degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Energy Management, or similar. MBA is a plus.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
