Job Description:
ATOZ Logistics Limited is seeking a seasoned National Operations Head to lead end-to-end logistics operations, fleet management, control tower oversight, maintenance coordination, and Pan-India branch support.
The role will be based in Delhi NCR and involves direct oversight of 500+ commercial trucks, multiple hubs, and daily operations. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in logistics, strong people management skills, and a proven record in optimizing freight and fleet performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
- Supervise daily truck movements, route planning, and freight dispatch
- Lead the control tower team to ensure real-time tracking and on-time deliveries
- Optimize fleet utilization and vehicle availability across regions
- Manage documentation including PODs, GRs, detention, billing, and invoicing
- Reduce operational leakages, fuel costs, and turnaround times
- Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and transport regulations
Fleet & Maintenance Oversight:
- Oversee maintenance and workshop teams across major branches
- Monitor job cards, preventive maintenance, spares, tyre usage, and diesel consumption
- Manage tyre team operations: inventory, scrap control, vendor performance
- Conduct performance audits to improve fleet efficiency and reduce breakdowns
Leadership & Strategy:
- Lead and manage operations teams across 40+ branches in India
- Collaborate with departments like Finance, HR, Admin, and Procurement
- Train and mentor junior managers and branch heads
- Execute strategic projects to enhance delivery reliability and reduce costs
- Lead tender participation, vendor development, and rate finalizations
Required Qualifications & Skills:
✔ 10–15 years of experience in logistics, transport, or fleet operations
✔ Hands-on expertise in managing large truck fleets (300+ vehicles preferred)
✔ Deep understanding of freight movement, maintenance, documentation, and dispatch
✔ Skilled in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and GPS tracking tools
✔ Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
✔ Experience in cost optimization, budgeting, and vendor negotiations
✔ Ability to work under pressure and handle operations across regions
