We are #hiring a “Head of Operations” to join a leading Multinational Quick Service Restaurant chain that's redefining the food-service industry in Sri Lanka with 40+ outlets and nationwide expansion plans. They’re looking for an innovative, forward-thinking #talent to help lead their transformation in the industry.


This individual will play a pivotal role in enhancing franchise capability and profitability by elevating the Guest and Team Member experience. The ideal candidate must bring a strong sense of accountability, urgency, and ownership, coupled with a continuous growth mindset. A proven track record in operations, building scalable success routines, and leading high-performing teams is essential.

💼 Job Type: On-Site | Permanent

💰NET Salary Range: LKR 700,000 – 800,000 (basic + allowances)

As the Head of Operations, you will be a key leader, reporting directly to the Country Head and working closely with executives, senior leaders and their respective teams to ensure in establishing a roadmap for operational excellence, optimizing technology adoption and utilization, building a model that drives operational metrics including Guest and Team Member satisfaction and performance metrics to lay the foundation for transaction growth.


Your New Role:


1. Lead and execute operational strategies across the country, ensuring excellence at every touchpoint.


2.Establish success routines and processes to enhance efficiency, consistency, and customer experience.


3.Work closely with franchise partners to drive and sustain operational improvements by fostering strong relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on operations and performance.


4.Develop and implement SOPs to drive consistency in service, product quality, and customer experience.


5.Monitor key metrics (speed of service, accuracy, cleanliness) to enhance performance to Improve product execution and delivery to meet brand standards.


6.Lead initiatives to enhance guest satisfaction and service consistency across restaurants.


7.Analyze guest feedback and service metrics, providing actionable improvement strategies for outlets countrywide.


8.Leverage industry trends, tools, and technology to drive innovation, efficiency and align operational initiatives with broader business goals and promotional strategies.


9.Use data-driven insights to develop strategies for operational and customer experience improvements.


10.Ensure strict adherence to food safety, health regulations, and brand standards. Conduct regular audits and assessments to maintain operational excellence.


11.Support in maximizing profitability through cost control, labour efficiency, and inventory management.


12.Analyze financial performance, providing data-driven recommendations to optimize revenue and reduce costs.


13.Mentor and develop operational leads, high performing teams fostering a high-performance culture.


14.Identify development opportunities to strengthen operational leadership within countrywide teams.


15.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, supply chain, and product development, to ensure seamless execution of brand initiatives.




What You Will Need to Succeed:


1.A minimum of 10 years of experience in leading operations with in-depth knowledge of operational excellence within the QSR or F&B industry is preferred.


2.A candidate with a proven track record of operational growth will be considered with the right attitude for brand growth. Relevant certifications in sales and marketing, business management or related professional background is desired.


3.Passionate about food as a category with past experience in the QSR, casual dining Food franchising industry or fine dining with multi property/ restaurant management.


4.Proven adaptability to a fast-moving environment and high sense of urgency and accountability, you will need to manage multiple complex data sets and report deadlines simultaneously.


5.Proven analytical skills with keen attention to detail, accuracy and an eye toward continuous process improvement.


6.Strong knowledge of business operations and unit economics while acting as a change agent who will challenge the status quo and is emotionally intelligent.


7.Customer-obsessed professional proficiency with a performance-driven and digital-first mindset.
