Responsibilities

• Remote Team Data & Infrastructure Management: Create infrastructure to support real-time data collection and reporting from remote field teams all over the world. This includes managing secure mobile devices, providing reliable connectivity, and integrating software solutions that optimize team efficiency and accuracy
• Security Systems for Asset Protection: Develop systems for real-time asset tracking and loss prevention, implementing smart security solutions to safeguard valuable materials and optimize usage
• IT Support for Product Teams: Provide reliable IT support, assess and implement cost-saving measures for cloud or hybrid storage, ensuring scalability
• Regular IT & Network Support: Maintain and support IT infrastructure and enterprise networking for offices in Riga and the USA, ensuring scalable, efficient, and secure IT support systems
  
  
  

Requirements

• Technical & Security Expertise: Proven IT security and infrastructure leadership experience +5 years, with hands-on experience in network security and asset protection
• Language skills: Professional Latvian and English language skills
• Technical Stack Experience: Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, Linux servers, PostgreSQL and MySQL databases, Deploying Python and PHP applications, Docker and Gitlab CI/CD pipelines
• Problem-Solving & Operational Efficiency: Ability to design and implement IT security systems, with a strong understanding of real-time monitoring and AI-driven analytics
• Team Leadership & Collaboration: Experience managing cross- functional IT teams, with the ability to collaborate with DevOps, security, and product teams
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement strategic plans for IT security and infrastructure, with a proven track record of driving cost-effective solutions and optimizing resources
