SAPRO India is seeking a seasoned and dynamic Head, HR and Site Operations to lead the people and operations strategy for its India Center of Excellence (CoE). This is a strategic leadership role encompassing full ownership of Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Learning and Development, and Site Operations.
The ideal candidate will be a thoughtful yet execution-focused leader with deep expertise in HR and operations in the professional services sector, especially accounting. This role is part of the India leadership team and serves as a key connector between global priorities and local execution. The individual must be an accessible leader, capable of building strong teams, delivering results, and driving a people-first culture.
Core Functional Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition (50–70% focus)
- Lead end-to-end recruitment strategy and execution to scale high-quality talent in the accounting and professional services space
- Coach and develop the TA team, implement performance metrics and operational excellence
- Partner with business teams to forecast hiring needs and optimize time-to-hire
Human Resources
- Lead all HR operations including policy creation and implementation, performance management, compensation, compliance, and employee relations
- Ensure HR practices align with SAPRO’s global philosophy while meeting Indian regulatory standards
- Oversee onboarding, HRIS data accuracy, exit processes, and internal HR controls
- Design and lead L&D strategy to strengthen capabilities across the India office
- Collaborate with global teams to roll out firmwide training and localize as needed
- Measure program effectiveness and ensure alignment with employee development goals
Site Operations
- Oversee daily functioning of the India CoE site with a focus on creating an efficient and employee-friendly environment
- Manage vendor relationships and administrative operations to ensure seamless support for internal teams
Leadership Responsibilities
- Act as a visible and accessible leader, fostering collaboration, clarity, and accountability
- Engage directly with clients as a senior representative for HR and talent conversations
- Translate global strategy into actionable India-level execution plans
- Support cultural alignment, team engagement, and cross-functional coordination
- Embed SAPRO’s values and mission across all programs and initiatives
- Champion diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in all people and operations practices

Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years of experience across Talent Acquisition (must-have), HR and operations with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Experience managing recruitment in the accounting or consulting services sector preferred
- Track record of working in global or matrixed organizational environments
- MBA or Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related discipline
- Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws, HR compliance, and best practices
- Familiarity with HRIS tools and ATS platforms
