What will your day look like?

• Ensure the warehouses are maintained in proper operational conditions;
• Plan and supervise maintenance and engineering projects, including preventive maintenance and facility upgrades;
• Conduct regular inspections of mechanical, electrical, and structural systems to ensure optimal facility performance;
• Lead engineering and construction initiatives, including repairs, renovations, and new installations to enhance warehouse functionality;
• Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations, including maintaining accurate records of inspections and certifications;
• Manage all operational communication and negotiations with the facility owner, resolving any issues related to leasing, repairs, or facility services;
• Develop and manage the facility maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective planning and execution of repairs, maintenance, and capital projects;
• Coordinate and manage timely responses to emergency maintenance situations, minimizing operational disruptions;
• Provide regular updates and detailed reports on facility conditions, maintenance schedules, and project progress to the Warehouse Manager.

Who are we looking for?

• Proven experience as a Facility Manager or in a similar role, ideally in warehouse or industrial environments;
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field;
• English language B2 and Italian C1;
• Experience in logistics or warehouse operations;
• Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance, and facility operations;
• Experience with contract negotiations and project management, including managing multiple projects;
• Understanding of safety and environmental regulations;
• Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to lead teams;
• Budget management experience is an advantage.
