Head of Digital App Operations (Senior Manager)



Responsibilities


  • Develop and execute long-term strategic plans to drive growth, elevate user experience, and position the app as a leading digital platform in the market.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure operational strategies align with overarching business goals.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at increasing user engagement, satisfaction, and retention through innovative enhancements to the app experience.
  • Conduct in-depth market and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends, risks, and new opportunities for growth.
  • Oversee daily operations of the digital app, ensuring seamless functionality, high performance, and a superior user experience.
  • Manage cross-functional teams including product operations, campaign planning, customer support, and admin functions to ensure operational excellence.
  • Establish and continuously improve systems and workflows to ensure scalability, efficiency, and responsiveness to user demands.
  • Drive user acquisition and retention strategies by leveraging ecosystem partnerships and data-driven marketing approaches.
  • Utilize centralized data platforms to implement precision targeting and deliver personalized experiences to users.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), interpret insights, and make strategic decisions to optimize app performance.
  • Contribute to the budgeting process by providing data-backed recommendations and aligning financial planning with operational goals.
  • Work closely with finance to implement effective controls and reporting systems to ensure fiscal responsibility and support profitability.
  • Oversee the planning and rollout of new features and mini-apps to ensure continuous innovation and relevance in the market.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure the app remains a front-runner in digital innovation.
  • Cultivate a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement.
  • Mentor and develop team members to build a strong talent pipeline and ensure the sustainability of future growth.



Expected Profile


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Technology Management, or a related field; an MBA is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in operations or Digital Product Management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success in managing teams and delivering impactful business outcomes.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a proven ability to make data-informed decisions.
  • Deep understanding of digital platforms, with hands-on experience in product lifecycle management and user-centric design thinking.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
