North Scout are supporting a specialist Consultancy in their search for a high-calibre Head of Delivery to lead and evolve their internal delivery capability. This is a key leadership role offering strategic influence, hands-on impact, and a very strong package.

Our client specialises in delivering significant and complex transformation, business change, and regulatory programmes for major institutions within Insurance and Financial Services. Their engagements are high-profile and outcomes-focused, demanding exceptional delivery leadership and deep sector understanding.

The Role

As Head of Delivery, you will lead the Consultancy’s Delivery practice — shaping frameworks, developing teams, and ensuring the consistent execution of complex programmes. You’ll act as a senior advisor to clients, represent the business externally, and help evolve the internal capability as the organisation scales.

This is a rare opportunity to shape delivery strategy at a Consultancy that’s making a real impact in the industry. This role would naturally suit a senior leader from within Consulting, or a Transformation / Programme Director from industry with a deep understanding of Consulting models.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the internal Delivery function, embedding scalable methodologies and best practice.
• Oversee complex client programmes across transformation, business and regulatory change and technology.
• Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement and delivery excellence across all engagements.
• Represent the consultancy as a thought leader in the industry.
• Collaborate with commercial teams to shape client solutions and support business growth.
• Foster a culture of high performance, collaboration and accountability.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven ability to drive significant transformation programmes within Insurance and / or Financial Services.
• Deep understanding of Insurance and / or Financial Services domains — particularly within transformation, change and regulatory delivery.
• Senior-level Consulting expertise.
• C-suite stakeholder engagement and strategic advisory skills.
• A pragmatic, outcomes-focused mindset and passion for delivery excellence.
• Strong leadership presence, with the ability to inspire and influence at all levels.
