The Opportunity:

The Global Head of Corporate IT will oversee the management and optimization of all internal applications and IT services. This role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, capable of leading a diverse team and ensuring the efficient operation of our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will embody a blend of the sage and everyman brand archetypes, bringing wisdom, reliability, and approachability to the role.

What you will do:

  • Budgetary Responsibility:
    • Manage and sign-off on application costs for all internally used software, including Microsoft licenses, Atlassian, Salesforce, and other applications.
    • Ensure cost-effective use of applications and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Application Coordination:
    • Collaborate with application owners and users to streamline processes and reduce costs where appropriate.
    • Assist in the onboarding of new software, licenses, and products, ensuring smooth integration into existing systems.
  • Business Applications Team Management:
    • Lead the business applications team, overseeing projects such as Jira service desk consolidation and handling BAU tasks including Atlassian and Salesforce development requests.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Service Desk Support:
    • Provide support to the service desk team, guiding projects and leading efforts to improve service desk operations.
    • Ensure timely resolution of IT issues and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Who you are:

  • Proven experience in a senior IT management role, preferably within a global organization.
  • Strong knowledge of IT applications and infrastructure, including Microsoft, Atlassian, and Salesforce.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to balance long-term vision with day-to-day operational needs.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
