This role is crucial for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maximizing profitability, managing comprehensive banking, accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), general ledger (GL) operations, and overseeing taxation matters. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Chartered Accountant with expertise in financial reporting, compliance, strategic financial planning, and tax regulations. Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting & Compliance: * Prepare monthly and annual balance sheets and profit & loss statements. * Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Profitability & Analysis: * Conduct profitability analysis to guide financial decision-making. * Identify financial risks and recommend strategies for growth and stability. Banking & Operations: * Oversee banking operations including cash flow management and reconciliations. * Accounts Receivable (AR) & Accounts Payable (AP): * Manage efficient AR and AP processes to ensure timely transactions. * General Ledger (GL) Accounting: * Supervise GL activities, ensuring accurate entries and reconciliations. Taxation: * Oversee tax planning and compliance, ensuring adherence to local and national tax regulations. * Manage tax audits and liaise with external tax advisors. * Develop strategies to optimize tax liabilities and ensure accurate reporting.
