Minimum 8 TO 12 years experience as a CFO - OR Head - Finance & Accounts
(Preferably from - a ( service industry - relocation industry)
Location - Mumbai
Salary - 9 to 18 lacs per annum
Desired qualification :
Post Graduate, with 12+ years for experience in managing end to end Accounting functions
Functional Scope of the position:
⮚ The HOD- F & A is responsible to develop, maintain and operate an efficient and effective service function which comprises Finance, Controlling, Tax, IT and Procurement , to drive and realize optimization potentials along a growth strategy to be formulated and implemented within his/her functional responsibility.
⮚ The scope covers India & Dubai , i.e. including all subsidiary Company’s and Shall report to the CFO & CEO
Financial Planning and Analysis / Controlling
⮚ Assess country performance against country strategy and annual budget
⮚ Develop management tools and systems to address country management requirements, to provide critical financial and operational information, and to give recommendations on strategy and operations
⮚ Monitor performance against budget for Indian legal entities, incl. country platform and selected business lines ⮚ Maintain and improve internal control systems, guidelines and policies
⮚ Harmonize financial & accounting policies and procedures across all legal entities in India
⮚ Engage in ongoing cost reduction analyses in all areas of the company
⮚ Review the performance of service verticals and report on key issues to management
⮚ Interpretation of the company's financial results and recommend strategic improvement activities
⮚ Compile key business metrics and report
⮚ Create additional analyses and reports as requested by management
Accounting
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting functions including:
⮚ Month and end-year process,
⮚ Accounts payable/ receivables, Cash receipts, General Ledger
⮚ Revenue and expenditure variance analysis.
⮚ Capital assets reconciliations, fixed asset activity, debt activity
⮚ Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
⮚ Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
⮚ Coordinate and complete annual audits ⮚ Cost /Expense Management
Finance & Treasury Management
⮚ Forecast and make available cash flow positions, and available funds for investment
⮚ Ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment and expense requirements
⮚ Maintain banking relationships
⮚ Assist in determining the company's proper capital structure.
⮚ Involve in raising funds as and when required
Budgeting & MIS
⮚ Manage the preparation of the company's budget
⮚ Report to management on variances from the established budget, and the reasons for those variances
⮚ Assist management in the formulation of its overall strategic direction
⮚ Report daily /weekly /monthly Financial MIS
Taxation & Statutory Compliance
▪ Ensure tax compliance and proper tax filing with the authorities.
▪ Transfer Price Documentation, establishment and regular updates
▪ Checks of business activities for GST compliance
▪ Tax consulting for local entities and global/region for Indian tax matters
▪ ROC related matters.
Team Development/Leadership
⮚ Oversee, direct, and organize the work of the finance and accounts teams.
⮚ Ensure staff members receive timely and appropriate training and development.
⮚ Establish and monitor staff performance and development goals, assign accountabilities, set objectives, establish priorities and conduct annual performance appraisals
⮚ Mentor and develop staff using a supportive and collaborative approach: assign accountabilities; set objectives; establish priorities; and monitor and evaluate results
Strategic Management
⮚ Execute the customization for technology integration in various Accounting processes
⮚ Evaluate and implement effective control mechanisms. Ensuring the setup of appropriate internal controls to mitigate risks surrounding the various processes
⮚ Business partnering to ensure profitable delivery of the business on both top line and bottom line
⮚ Strategy formulation together with top management along with concrete business plans, budgets and forecasts
⮚ Assist in procurement and vendor management.
⮚ Manage Client communications
