Location: Dunkeld, Johannesburg

Salary: Market Related


About the Role:

Reporting to the CEO, you’ll be managing, directing and supervising the brand strategy and brand communications team, including Research & Analysis, Media Strategy, Brand Communications and Strategy.


Requirements:

Relevant Tertiary Qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business, Branding, or similar

5+ years’ experience in strategic marketing, brand management, or corporate communications.

Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing large-scale brand campaigns.

Prior leadership or executive-level experience, ideally in fast-paced or high-growth environments.

Strategic planning and execution.

Brand positioning and storytelling.

Integrated communication across digital, media, and internal channels.

Strong leadership, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities:

Work with the CEO to develop cohesive, productive and attainable goals for the Business Unit

Formulates and presents Brand Stories and Strategies through the combination analysis, research, trends and creative elements.

Leads the team and directs project completion in line with company goals and clients’ expectations.

Conducts Research on clients’ (current & potential) marketing strategies, consumer profile and market share with the view to ascertaining market positioning and opportunity areas.

Manages the workflow and quality of work with the department.

Coordinate with freelancers and vendors for timeous delivery of work.

Anticipates and analyses the future direction using research, trends, as well as own insights, and implement for clients.

Ensures that client work is delivered within agreed timelines, scope.

Ensures that brand storytelling is embedded in strategy and messaging.

Presents strategies to clients and works with client to fine-tune strategy for execution.

Collaborates with the creative team to successfully translate strategy into a story, collateral and other brand and media assets.
