About the job:

Based in Brunssum, The Netherlands, you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATO’s Digital Endeavour. You will join CSSC, which provides effective static and deployable Information Communications Technology (ICT) system repair and maintenance as well as ICT Hardware Asset Management (AM) services in support of NATO operations, exercises and training. As the Central Warehouse for ICT Hardware within NATO, CSSC is responsible for the supply activities associated with stock management, procurement, delivery, receipt and through life management of all ICT hardware items. CSSC personnel are located within the central hub in Brunssum as well as the three Forward Support Points at Bydgoszcz, Grazzanise and Wesel.

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Head Business Management Branch who will take on the following roles and responsibilities:

  • Acts as principal advisor to CSSC Commander;
  • Accountable for planning and managing business, administrative and financial activities of the CSSC, on behalf of the CSSC Commander;
  • Oversees the CSSC contribution to NCIA Corporate Planning Cycle, the Business Execution Plan (BEP), financial planning, Quarterly Performance reports and the NCIA Costed Customer Service catalogue with regards to CSSC managed services;
  • Oversees CSSC business initiatives throughout their lifecycle, and through their direct responsibility for the CSSC Branches, ensures the successful delivery of the CSSC’s portfolio of CIS products and services, including the resources on which they depend, as detailed in applicable service agreements;
  • Accountable, by instrument of the BMB, for the delivery of Information, Information and Knowledge Management (IKM), Quality Assurance (QA) and Risk Management (RM) support to the CSSC Commander,in close cooperation with CSO and enterprise-level stakeholders;
  • Responsible for the execution of a CSSC-wide continual improvement programme based on applicable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and the collection and analysis of customer feedback;
  • Accountable to the CSSC Commander for all security related issues;
  • Accountable to CSSC Commander for all asset management functional lead activities and initiatives, as well as the Asset Management L1 controls performed via the Internal Control Visit program.

About you:

The valuable knowledge and experience that you bring to this role are:

  • A Master’s degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in Business Management, Electronics Engineering, Communications Engineering or a relevant related discipline and 5 years post-related experience. Alternatively a Bachelor’s degree with 8 years post related experience relevant to the function of the post;
  • At least 5 years of experience in a NATO, national or relevant industry, involving leading and managing business operations in C4ISR domain;
  • Proficiency in use of office automation and project management software;
  • Good knowledge of business management, service operations, service management and asset management processes;
  • Good knowledge of security processes and procedures;
  • Proven knowledge and experience in integrating new CIS capabilities within a NATO or national environment to include the development, management, acquisition and implementation of major CIS capabilities;
  • Experience and knowledge interpreting financial data and allocating budgets;
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
