Our client located in Dallas, TX is looking to hire a Hardware Support Specialist for an onsite contract opportunity. This is a one year plus contract with possible overtime.

Hardware Support Specialist Role:

As a Hardware Support Specialist, you’ll be an essential part of the IT Support team, providing hands-on assistance with hardware configuration, user support, and audio/visual technology solutions.

You’ll handle FreshService tickets daily, set up and configure desktops, laptops, and mobile devices, and create Active Directory accounts for new hires.

You’ll be supporting both Mac and PC environments, so comfort with both platforms is highly desirable.

Your role includes troubleshooting and resolving a variety of hardware and software issues, both remotely and in person.

You'll also assist with conference room technology including screen sharing, video conferencing, and telephony systems.

In addition, you’ll maintain system documentation, support occasional software rollouts, and help with end-user training when needed.

Part of your responsibilities includes managing local hardware inventory and supporting national equipment shipping when necessary.


Hardware Support Specialist Background Profile:

Familiarity with Apple silicon chips (M1–M4) and at least 1 year of MacOS support experience required.

Jamf (MDM) and Apple Business Manager experience required.

Experience with Microsoft Office365 and Active Directory preferred.

iPad support experience is a plus.

Solid understanding of Microsoft products, and experience with Windows, macOS, and mobile device support preferred.

Must be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced, professional environment.

Strong communication skills and a customer-centric attitude are essential.

Previous experience in VIP support environments with prioritization and patience is highly valued.

Experience with phone systems such as RingCentral, TalkDesk, or Cisco is preferred.

Familiarity with Microsoft Intune and Azure Autopilot is a plus.
