Agile Hardware Engineering Manager (80–100%)

Location: Canton Bern, Switzerland

Start Date: Immediate or by arrangement

Max Salary: Up to CHF 120,000 per year

Language Requirement: Fluent German

About the Role:

As an Agile Hardware Engineering Manager, you will lead a cross-functional team in an agile environment, driving the development of cutting-edge hardware for automated and secure transportation systems. Your role combines technical expertise with leadership as you optimise development processes and spearhead innovative, customer-centric solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coach a team of hardware engineers in an agile (Scrum) environment
• Optimize hardware development processes and implement best practices
• Conduct feasibility studies and design innovative solutions
• Collaborate with external partners to integrate new technologies
• Develop electronic circuits and create schematics, layouts, and production documentation

Your Profile:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (FH/ETH) or equivalent
• Several years of experience in hardware development, ideally in safety-critical transportation or industrial sectors
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with embedded systems and modern design methodologies
• Proficient in both German and English
