Summary

Job Title: Embedded Engineer Job Description Perform electrical hardware and software engineering tasks in developing new products and cost reduction. Participate in the development of Product Specification. Produce conceptual designs and guide the development process to create practical designs. Create detailed circuit and hardware drawings and software code. Identify applicable standards and provide analysis of the design to these standards. Use engineering analysis tools and techniques such as circuit simulation and software analysis tools. Review instruction manuals and product literature. Define and lead prototype development, lab, and field tests. Work with manufacturing on process improvements. Responsibilities * Develop new products and work on cost reduction strategies. * Participate in the creation and development of product specifications. * Produce and guide the development of conceptual designs into practical applications. * Create detailed circuit and hardware drawings along with software code. * Identify and analyze applicable design standards. * Utilize engineering analysis tools and techniques. * Review and create instruction manuals and product literature. * Define and lead the development of prototypes and conduct lab and field tests. * Collaborate with manufacturing to improve processes. Essential Skills * Bachelor's degree in electrical, computer or software engineering, computer science, or a related field. * 5+ years of experience in new product development with proven success in producing innovative products. * Excellent oral and written communication skills. * Outstanding engineering and technical aptitude. * Strong mentorship and training capabilities. * Effective project management skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications * Experience in hardware, design, firmware, PCB, digital, analog, and Linux environments. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $46.00 - $75.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
