Job description

You will contribute to the creation of innovative solutions for challenging technical problems, ensuring high-quality and reliable products. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology within the aerospace, defence, and communication sectors.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Design and Development: Design and develop electronic circuits and systems, including digital, analogue, and RF circuits.
  • Prototyping and Testing: Build and test prototypes, ensuring they meet design specifications and performance requirements.
  • Product Integration: Integrate electronic systems into larger product assemblies, collaborating with cross-functional teams such as mechanical and software engineers.
  • Problem Solving: Diagnose and resolve technical issues in existing and new products.
  • Documentation: Produce detailed design documentation, including schematics, test procedures, and technical reports.
  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure products comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.


Qualifications:


Essential:

  • Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in electronic circuit design, including analogue, digital, and/or RF circuits.
  • Proficiency with electronic design tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, or similar.
  • Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable:

  • Experience in the aerospace, defence, or communication sectors.
  • Knowledge of EMC design and testing.
  • Familiarity with embedded systems and firmware development.
  • Understanding of safety and regulatory standards relevant to electronic products.
