We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hardware Design and Testing Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. You will be involved in the development, troubleshooting, validation, and documentation of hardware products. This role requires a solid foundation in electronic hardware design and a strong focus on testability, compliance, and quality assurance. The ideal candidate is a proactive team player with excellent problem-solving and communication skills, who thrives in a collaborative development environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot electronic product designs.
• Drive design activities focused on performance, functionality, cost, test efficiency, manufacturability, and quality.
• Plan and execute test strategies including validation and compliance testing.
• Ensure designs are testable by incorporating Design-for-Test (DfT) principles early in the development cycle.
• Generate test plans, validation reports, and design documentation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams to investigate and resolve design issues.
• Support prototype builds, including Bill of Materials (BOM) creation and managing Engineering Change Requests (ECRs).
• Participate in product certification and environmental compliance testing.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in electronics product design and testing.
• Proven expertise in one or more of the following:
• Microcontroller/Microprocessor-based system design (preferably with ARM architecture).
• Memory system and digital logic design (FPGA, CPLD, PAL).
• Board-level design incorporating early testability planning.
• High-speed interfaces (Ethernet, USB) including testing and certification.
• Power supply circuits and digital electronics.
• Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools.

Experience in:

• Board-level/system-level design verification.
• EMI/EMC mitigation techniques and compliance testing.
• Signal integrity testing using oscilloscopes, VNAs, etc.
• Environmental and regulatory certification standards.
• Experience managing prototype builds, including BOM and change requests.
