Tasks

The Handling Manager is responsible for:

• Management of all A/C and WH handling processes at the stations in the geographical area in compliance with all relevant directives (safety, security, legal requirements, processes, quality, maintenance of qualifications and skills, etc)
• Achievement of financial and non-financial handling KPIs, including performance analysis and definition of corrective action in case of deviations
• Operational steering of own staff as well as activity of service providers
• Management of necessary interfaces with airport, customs and other relevant external authorities
• Participation in negotiations of contracts/agreements for aircraft handling like SGHA etc
• Ensures quality and a SMS reporting on local level btw station and GHA as well as to Headquarter
• Participate in other duties as assigned
  
  

Requirements

To thrive in this role, we value a combination of the following requirements:

• High school diploma/GED required
• Bachelor's degree desirable
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in the logistics or airline industry required
• Adequate knowledge of LH Cargo’s processes & organization. Alternatively, good knowledge of comparable international airline/ logistics industry structures required
• English language required
• Advanced professional operations know how & skills in an airline or logistics environment required
• Knowledge of MS office, Excel, Word & PowerPoint as user
• Responsible of employees

• Willingness to travel
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Must possess a legal work permit in Hong Kong
