Duration: 14 Months Experience: 7+ yrs Skills Java, Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Yarn, Hbase, Hive, Pig, Flume, Spark Roles and Responsibilities Write custom ETL applications using Spark in that follow a standard architecture. Success will be defined by the ability to meet requirements/acceptance criteria, delivery on time, number of defects, and clear documentation. Perform functional testing, end-to-end testing, performance testing, and UAT of these applications and code written by other members of the team. Proper documentation of the test cases used during QA will be important for success. Other important responsibilities include clear communication with team members as well as timely and thorough code reviews. Skills and Experiences Experience using any one of the ETL tools such as Talend, Kettle, Informatica or AbInitio Exposure to Hadoop or NoSQL performance optimization and benchmarking using tools such as HiBench or YCSB Experience in performance monitoring tools such as Ganglia, Nagios, Splunk or DynaTrace Experience on continuous build and test process using tools such as Maven and Jenkins Certification in HortonWorks or Cloudera preferred
