Guidewire Policy Center Developer

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in Configuration/integration and Guidewire Implementations in Policy Center

• Exposure working in GW cloud implementations.

• 10+ years of experience in Java/J2ee (EJB, Servlets, JSP, JDBC, Web Services, JMS, JPA).

• Able to configure/Integrate the applications using XML and GOSU

• Insurance Knowledge specifically Personal Lines Claims and Commercial Claims

• Relational Database and Data Modeling experience 

• Strong Java server-side programming experience with a solid understanding of object-oriented concepts 

• Experience with Scrum or other Agile development methodologies

• Experience with messaging, Webservices and database connectivity

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• The primary functions of this role consist of: Responsible for designing and implementing Configuration/integration points between external applications/services and the Guidewire® platforms.

• Partner with client business teams to understand business objectives and configuration/integration requirements.

• Produce technical design documents for configuration/integration points.

• Develop custom configuration/integration points to connect Guidewire applications with other internal and external systems.
