The Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GN&C) team is made up of enthusiastic and talented individuals that design and produce the hardware, algorithms, and software required to solve the challenging problems of controlling these systems. Are you willing to join this team and help solve these challenges in a team environment using your academic background and experience?

This position reports to the Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) Products Manager within the GNC Talent Center organization. The role specifically is for a GNC hardware engineer on the Next Gen Interceptor (NGI) program. The position must be capable of performing Material Review Boards, Failure Review Board, Critical Design Reviews, Qualification Review Boards, Design and testing oversight of hardware throughout design lifecycle. Focus will be on Inertial Measurement Units and Star Trackers but could develop into other product areas.

Desired Skills

Currently possess an active Secret Clearance

Experience working with hardware development, including build, test, and integration.

Experience with GNC or Avionics hardware

Experience leading hardware build, test, and integration efforts

Previous experience presenting to senior management, as well as, customer team members.

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $65,300 - $115,230. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
