Summary

We’re looking for a scrappy, strategic Growth Manager focused on acquisition — someone who knows how to get new members in the door across multiple markets. You’ll be responsible for driving qualified demand through a mix of digital, offline, and community-driven channels. You’ll be experimenting constantly, learning fast, and doing whatever it takes to fuel the next stage of Groundfloor’s growth.

What you’ll do

  • Own the full top-of-funnel: from channel strategy to execution across paid, organic, referral, partnerships, field marketing, and more.
  • Design and run hyperlocal acquisition campaigns tailored to each neighborhood we operate in — including geo-targeted ads, offline outreach, partnerships, and grassroots efforts.
  • Build and scale referral programs and incentives that feel true to the brand and our community-first approach.
  • Work closely with the Founders, Ops, and Community teams to launch new locations with strong initial momentum and healthy waitlists.
  • Dig into the data: track performance, analyze member acquisition trends, and make real-time decisions based on insights (bonus if you can write your own SQL).
  • Roll up your sleeves — growth at Groundfloor isn’t just done behind a laptop. This role will sometimes involve face-to-face conversations, boots-on-the-ground work, and creative scrappiness to build local buzz.
  • Be the voice of early-stage members and prospective members: gather insights to refine messaging, positioning, and acquisition tactics.

About you

  • You’ve driven acquisition at an early-stage startup before — ideally in a marketplace, consumer, or community-oriented business.
  • You’re channel-agnostic: you think in hypotheses and are excited to test paid ads, IRL activations, referral loops, B2B outreach, and partnerships all in the same week.
  • You’re deeply analytical and comfortable pulling your own data to drive decisions. SQL is a plus.
  • You’re energized by ambiguity, fast-moving environments, and getting your hands dirty.
  • You know that finding product-market fit is often a contact sport — and you’re excited to get out in the world, not just run campaigns from a desk.
  • You have strong communication skills and a good feel for brand. You can create messaging that resonates and converts, without sounding like a generic startup.

Why Groundfloor

We’re not building a growth team to run cookie-cutter campaigns — we’re building one to tell real stories, reach the right people, and bring them into a movement that matters. If you care about creating something that helps people feel connected and less alone — and if you want to play a big part in helping that grow — we’d love to meet you.

Compensation

  • $65k-$90K base salary depending on experience + stock options
