Job Description

As Growth Manager at DIRTEA, you are responsible for leading and executing the brand’s DTC growth strategy. You own the online growth plan across DTC and Amazon, driving revenue from a high-converting website, e-mail campaigns & acquisition channels, while keeping to strict performance goals on CAC, ROAS, 30 Day Churn, LTV:CAC and blended efficiency. Your goal is to attract and convert new customers, scale acquisition efficiently, and support DIRTEA’s mission to become the go-to functional mushroom brand in the world.


This role requires a high level of autonomy, data analysis, and performance marketing rigour. You are expected to actively own strategy and execution across Meta, TikTok, Google, YouTube, Amazon, and emerging channels.


You will also work with our Growth team to improve site conversion, from improving Conversion Rate, to growing Average Order Value.


About the role - your responsibilities:

🧠 Growth Strategy & Planning

  • Own the performance and growth marketing roadmap across DTC and Amazon.
  • Build and execute integrated acquisition strategies across all digital channels.
  • Take ownership of paid media budgets and performance KPIs, ensuring spend is efficient and scalable.


📈 Email Marketing Management

  • Directly manage and optimise e-mail campaigns in Klaviyo
  • Constantly A/B test subject lines, segments and templates.


🛍️ DTC & Landing Page Optimisation

  • Lead CRO across our Shopify site and campaign-specific landing pages.
  • Brief our in-house developer & work with third-party tools to run A/B tests on pages, headlines, CTAs, and offers.


📊 Analytics, Attribution & Reporting

- Use platforms like Peek, GA4, Meta, and TikTok Ads Manager to track and analyse campaign performance.

- Build weekly and monthly reports on performance, learnings, and areas for improvement.

- Constantly interrogate CAC, ROAS, LTV:CAC, and blended revenue to identify inefficiencies and opportunities.


🤝 Cross-functional Collaboration

- Work closely with our Retention Manager to align acquisition and lifecycle strategies.

- Collaborate with the Creative and Brand teams on storytelling and visual identity in ads.

- Align with Operations to forecast and plan based on growth expectations.


You will also play a role in:


📈 Paid Media Management

- Working with our Acquisition team to optimise campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Google Ads, YouTube, and other performance channels.


🛒 Amazon Growth & Optimisation

- Support performance and growth of Amazon

- Ensure digital consistency between DTC and Amazon


Who we're looking for:


- 3+ years experience in growth/performance marketing in a high-growth consumer brand (FMCG/DTC preferred)

- Hands-on experience managing e-mail campaigns in Klaviyo

- Strong commercial understanding of CAC, ROAS, LTV, and ecommerce P&L levers

- Hands-on experience running A/B tests across our DTC site to optimise CRO

- Hands-on experience managing Shopify and Klaviyo 

- Experience in a DTC-led FMCG brand, bonus if you've grown a subscription revenue stream

- Comfort working in a fast-paced, founder-led startup environment


An exceptional candidate will:


  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of how customer acquisition & retention work together to accelerate growth
  • Articulate in detail how they have played a role independently & in a team to improve website conversion rate and average order value
  • Have worked within a venture-capital backed FMCG brand which scaled revenue +100% year-on-year.
