Summary

Job Title: Key Accounts Manager – Group Health & Life Insurance

Department: Corporate Sales / Client Servicing

Location: Karachi

Reporting to: Head of Corporate Sales / Director



Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Key Accounts Manager to manage post-sale client relationships in our group health and life insurance segment. This role is responsible for client onboarding, policy servicing, claims coordination, account management, and acting as a bridge between the client and insurance companies.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Onboard clients after the sale and ensure smooth policy activation.
  • Collect and verify all necessary KYC and compliance documentation.
  • Conduct orientation/awareness sessions to educate HR/admin teams and employees about policy usage, claim procedures, and value-added services.
  • Maintain updated client records, employee data, endorsements, and timely policy additions or deletions.
  • Track and manage all claims (in-patient, out-patient, death, disability, etc.) and follow up for timely resolution with insurance partners.
  • Provide monthly/quarterly account statements, claims reports, and utilization summaries.
  • Handle all service requests, escalations, and issue resolution in a professional and timely manner.
  • Collect relevant data from clients for underwriting, policy renewal, and comparison purposes.
  • Compare quotes and policy benefits from multiple insurance providers and prepare detailed proposals for client review.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with HR/Admin focal points of assigned clients.
  • Ensure timely renewal discussions, pre-renewal analysis, and endorsements.
  • Coordinate with internal sales, operations, and claims teams for seamless service delivery.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, insurance product changes, and market competition.



Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in group insurance servicing or client relationship management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and data management capabilities.
  • Knowledge of group insurance policies, underwriting, and claims handling processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and reporting tools.
