What you’ll achieve


As the Group Financial Controller, you will lead our international finance operations and be responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and insightful financial reporting to senior leadership, investors, and the board. This is a key role in aligning the financial infrastructure of our fast-paced, matrixed organization.


Reporting directly to the Group Chief Financial Officer, you will manage a team of five, coordinate reporting and planning across various business units, and collaborate closely with functions such as Compensation & Benefits to improve payroll clarity and cost reporting, making a profound impact throughout the healthcare sector.


You will:


  • Lead and develop a high-performing cross-functional finance team across multiple countries.
  • Coordinate and consolidate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting for the board and investors.
  • Provide detailed analysis of General & Administrative (G&A) expenses, supporting cost transparency and control.
  • Collaborate with the Group Head of Compensation & Benefits to improve visibility and accuracy of payroll-related data and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards (IFRS) and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement of financial processes, systems and controls.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning processes across the Group.
  • Act as a business partner to senior management, providing proactive financial insights and recommendations.
  • Maintain and develop the use of financial tools and systems (Tagetik, MS Dynamics, Workday)

Essential Requirements


  • Significant experience in a senior finance role within a complex, international organization.
  • Demonstrated experience in producing board-level and investor financial reporting.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop cross-functional, remote teams.
  • Industry background in IT, Telco, Software, or related technology-based services.
  • Hands-on experience with Tagetik and Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Advanced financial analysis, reporting and forecasting skills.
  • Solid knowledge of IFRS and global financial compliance.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent communication and influencing skills.


Desirable Requirements


  • Prior experience in a private equity-backed or investment driven business environment.
  • Working knowledge of Workday.
  • Fluency in Italian or another European language.
  • Experience working with Compensation & Benefits or HR teams to align financial and payroll data.
  • Background in supporting M&A activity, integration projects, or financial transformation initiatives
