About Your Role

As a Group Data Architect within the Group Data Management team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and maintaining the data architecture landscape, ensuring alignment with data governance, data quality, and regulatory requirements. Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and managing data architecture artifacts (data models, data flow diagrams, metadata structures) in alignment with enterprise standards
• Supporting the definition and implementation of data governance and data quality frameworks
• Collaborating with stakeholders across the Group to ensure architectural alignment with data strategy and business needs
• Ensuring compliance with BCBS 239 principles and architectural consistency across entities
• Defining and maintaining a common vocabulary and metadata standards for key data assets
• Evaluating and adopting data architecture standards (e.g., TOGAF, DAMA-DMBOK) and best practices
• Participating in the assessment of data flows and transformations to improve traceability, integrity, and quality
• Leading to the development of data catalogs and lineage mapping

Is This You?

• You have solid experience in data architecture, data modeling, or data management, ideally within the financial sector
• You bring deep knowledge of data governance, data quality, and regulatory standards such as BCBS 239
• You are familiar with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman
• You know how to create and work with data artifacts across conceptual, logical, and physical levels
• You are fluent in English; proficiency in Croatian and/or German is a strong asset
• You have hands-on experience with SQL and various data modeling tools
• You are analytically strong, precise in your work, and bring a collaborative mindset
• As a Data Architect, you navigate complex data environments with ease, communicate clearly with both business and technical stakeholders, and build trust through transparency and solution-oriented thinking
• You enjoy working across departments and see value in sharing knowledge to strengthen the overall data culture
