Role Summary

Compass Surgical Partners is seeking a high-impact Group Administrator to lead operations at Westside Surgical Center and Eastgate Surgery Center, two dynamic, physician-partnered ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) in Cincinnati, OH. This leadership role is responsible for driving financial performance, operational excellence, clinical quality, and physician engagement across both sites.

As the key operational leader at these centers, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to build high-performing teams, scale best practices, and ensure strategic alignment with Compass’s growth and quality objectives. This role is ideal for a collaborative, data-driven healthcare executive with strong experience managing multiple sites or complex operations.

Key Responsibilities

Multi-Site Financial & Operational Leadership

  • Oversee the financial and operational performance of both ASCs, ensuring each achieves or exceeds budgeted EBITDA targets
  • Monitor KPIs across sites, including case volume, case mix, staffing efficiency, and cost per case
  • Develop and implement standard processes to drive scalability, consistency, and operational efficiency across locations
  • Partner with corporate leadership to align site performance with broader market and enterprise strategies

Clinical Quality & Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure full compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and licensing standards across both centers
  • Maintain and improve clinical quality metrics; lead continuous quality improvement (CQI) and patient safety initiatives
  • Prepare both centers for successful surveys and audits, maintaining a constant state of survey readiness

Physician Engagement & Strategic Growth

  • Serve as a trusted partner to physicians and health system stakeholders; maintain high levels of physician satisfaction and NPS
  • Identify and support opportunities to grow case volume, expand service lines, and attract new physician partners
  • Actively engage in syndication efforts and support physician onboarding and integration into center operations

Facility & Resource Management

  • Ensure operational excellence through effective OR utilization, efficient case scheduling, and streamlined workflows
  • Oversee facilities management, supply chain performance, and capital planning across both locations
  • Implement initiatives that reduce case costs while maintaining or improving quality and experience

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and develop two site-based leadership teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning
  • Support staff recruitment, retention, and engagement; maintain strong employee Net Promoter Scores (eNPS)
  • Build leadership pipelines through structured coaching, mentorship, and succession planning

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience leading operations in an ASC or multi-site healthcare setting
  • Prior experience in gastrointestinal (GI) or endoscopy-focused ambulatory surgery center (ASC) operations is required
  • Proven track record managing full P&L responsibility and driving strong financial outcomes
  • Strong background in regulatory compliance, clinical operations, and quality assurance
  • Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams and build strategic physician relationships

Preferred:

  • Multi-site leadership experience in an ASC, surgical, or outpatient healthcare environment
  • Deep knowledge of ASC-specific metrics, case costing, and data-driven decision-making
  • Experience leading successful surveys (AAAHC, CMS, state) and implementing continuous improvement strategies
  • Strong analytical and change management skills; ability to lead through complexity
  • Familiarity with physician syndication, governance board leadership, and ASC ownership structures
