GROUNDSKEEPER SUPERVISOR/MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - Rancho Cucamonga, CA

About your new Career:

Lewis Apartment Communities currently seeks an experienced Groundskeeper Supervisor/ Maintenance Technician for Homecoming at The Resort, a beautiful and large community in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. In your role, you will assist in the supervision of groundskeeper staff and operations, while providing solid skills in all aspects of general residential maintenance.

Some of your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Strong all-around maintenance skills in the apartment industry
• Experience in carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting, and appliance (dishwashers, stoves, etc.) installation and repair
• Making ready units for new occupancy
• Interaction with community manager and staff
• Maintaining units of current residents
• Coordinating work with outside vendors
• Maintaining the leasing office and all recreation facilities
• Supervising a team of community Groundskeepers/Porters
• Requires reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Other requirements include:

• Moving and transporting heavy objects, as needed
• Bending/stooping/walking repeatedly over time and throughout your community.
• Ascend/descend stairs and ladders as required.
• Ability to exchange information and communicate with Company employees and the general public by speaking/reading/writing English.
  
  
  

To be successful, your background should include:

• Prior apartment maintenance experience with some staff supervision background.
• Strong all-around residential maintenance skills in the apartment/residential industry
• Experience in carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting, and appliance (dishwashers, washers, stoves, etc.) installation and repair
  
  
  

ADDITIONAL INFO:

Days off for this position are Friday and Saturday.

In addition to a competitive hourly wage ($26.00- $28.00/hour DOE) Lewis Groundskeeper Supervisor/Maintenance Technician earn:
