Position Summary: We are looking for an experienced Aerial Lineman to join our team. The Aerial Lineman will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of overhead telecommunications lines, including fiber optic and coaxial cables. The ideal candidate will have experience working at heights, a strong understanding of industry safety standards, and proficiency in aerial construction techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair overhead fiber optic and coaxial lines.
String and maintain wires, cables, and fiber optics using bucket trucks, ladders, and other climbing gear.
Perform pole transfers, installations, and replacements.
Read and interpret engineering plans, staking sheets, and construction drawings.
Safely operate equipment, including bucket trucks, reel trailers, and hand tools.
Ensure proper grounding and bonding of aerial cables.
Splice and test fiber optic cables as needed.
Perform quality control checks to ensure compliance with industry and project specifications.
Work collaboratively with groundmen, equipment operators, and other crew members.
Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including working in traffic zones and ensuring safe pole access.
Troubleshoot and resolve aerial network issues promptly.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Aerial Lineman in telecommunications or utility industries.
Familiarity with aerial construction methods, materials, and tools.
Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
Strong knowledge of NESC (National Electrical Safety Code) standards.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings.
Valid CDL preferred but not required.
Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to climb utility poles using appropriate safety gear.
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
