Job Description
Our client, a leading pharmaceutical organization, is seeking a experienced Project Manager to coordinate an exciting greenfield project, expanding upon current facilities locally. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading multi-disciplined project teams, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet all specified requirements.
Responsibilities
* Lead multi-disciplined project teams to complete projects on time, on budget, meeting all requirements (quality, cost, schedule, scope).
* Execute projects and manage all aspects including developing project goals and business objectives, finalizing scope and budget, creating project plans, negotiating staffing with Line of Business, monitoring and controlling project work, managing project data, reporting performance and seeking approvals from the project owner.
* Manage project procurement, delivery/installation, commissioning, qualification, change control, and team; close and evaluate projects.
* Ensure all facets of the program lifecycle align with expectations set forth by the project owner.
* Monitor and report project progress.
* Consider project staffing plans needed to support projects and assemble the project team. For external staff, manage tasks and time closely.
* Responsible for financial project accountability through purchase order creation, management, invoicing, and budget forecasting.
* Ensure alignment with global programs and other site projects to actively share best practices, knowledge, and visions.
* Assist with any training required of personnel supporting the project.
* Follow all safety and environmental requirements in the performance of duties.
Essential Skills
* Project management experience of 8-10 years, ideally
* Experience managing a greenfield project
* Experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
Additional Skills & Qualifications
* GMP certification
Work Environment
This individual will be on-site in an office building and will also head to the construction site as well as the current building to meet with different project stakeholders. Normal hours are expected but flexibility is required as different needs arise.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $100.00/hr.
