Greenbelt Group, the UK's leading land management company, has an exciting new role within our Delivery team for a full-time Green Space Development & Contracts Manager based within the West Midlands area of England.

The successful candidate will join a small but highly-experienced team, predominantly working remotely to facilitate the handover of new development sites to our portfolio among other duties listed below, with occasional requirement to travel to both Company offices and clients' sites. 

Your manager will be the Green Space Development Director, who will supervise your work programme and to whom you will report.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate the handover of new development sites from housing developers to management and maintenance within the Greenbelt portfolio under a range of models.
• Ensure high quality and standards of landscaping and structural implementation within new developments at the point of handover.
• Liaise with developers and the Green Space Delivery Coordinator to collate all relevant documentation to ensure the all relevant components of a site have been installed as per approved design.
• Liaise with internal teams to ensure high standards for portfolio inclusion are met.
• Prepare quotations to clients for individual contract works for either implementation or remedial work, ensuring the required profit margin is achieved.
• Identify opportunities to promote the end-to-end nature of the service to clients, including 'design and build' elements.
• Manage cost-effective budgeting, tendering, implementation and preferred supplier processes.
• Instruct and monitor all implementation and remedial work to ensure all relevant parameters of the brief and health and safety requirements are met.
• Manage sales invoicing to developers upon completion of works to ensure a sustainable cashflow.
• Provide support and assistance to the Green Space Development Director to effectively undertake their responsibilities and liaise with various departments to achieve new green space units and income targets.
• Ensure that health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times and assist with the review of contractual requirements as and when required.
• Assist in the completion of client pre-qualifications questionnaires and company contracting accreditation.

General duties include:

• Any other appropriate duties as requested by your manager.
• Compliance with the procedures outlined in the Company Handbook at all times.
• Undertake any training advised by Green Space Development Manager to provide more efficient service within this post.
• Undertake additional travel to other regions as and when required.

Requirements

• Extensive amenity landscape or contract management experience, or transferable skills
• Full, clean current UK driving licence
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
