Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('SpinCo') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.
Job Description
The NBCU Creative Group is a creative team that consists of strategists, writers, editors, producers and designers to produce best-in-class creative solutions for both advertisers and various functions within NBCU Ad Sales.
In this Graphic Designer role, you will work closely with the Creative Director to provide design support for our Global Advertising & Partnerships organization.
Projects will include but not be limited to:
* Branding for B2B events such as Upfront, Cannes Lions, and CES, design of B2B communication materials
* RFP concept-visualizations and presentation designs, storyboarding motion-type for internal sizzles, and the development of commerce products adjacent to our TV programming across various platforms.
* Design with quality and uphold the aesthetic standards whether it's for our clients or internal marketing material.
* Work collaboratively with other creatives such as fellow designers, creative directors, writers and strategists, stays on top of design-trends to ensure our clients and NBCU is represented in a way where we are not just relevant, but is at the frontier, pushing the design and marketing boundaries.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Deliver visual solutions that address the objectives and communicate core message
* Uphold integrity of design throughout process, while being respectful to colleagues of various disciplines
* Stay up to date with latest design and digital trends
* Contribute to and thrive in a supportive, team-oriented group
* Collaborate with colleagues across different disciplines (ad sales, marketing, strategists, communications, Peacock product team, motion graphics, editors, writers, Creative Directors, etc.)
Qualifications
* A strong portfolio demonstrating a range of work (photo compositing and editing a plus)
* Expertise in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Figma
* Ability to work on and manage projects from concept to delivery
* A heightened sense of design; especially with respect to typography, photography, composition, and color
* Working knowledge of PowerPoint
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Highly creative & detail-oriented
* Advertising experience a Plus
Desired Characteristic
* Bachelor's Degree in a related field/equivalent training or work experience
* 3+ years working as a graphic designer or similar role
* Positive, 'can-do' attitude with a willingness to learn and grow and ask questions within a fast-paced working environment
* Passion for design, photography, illustrations, typography, and digital design
* Openness to collaborating with colleagues across different disciplines
* Ability to maintain a professional and respectful attitude to co-workers
* Interest in the advertising and media industry

Salary range: $70,000 - $95,000
